Project Overview
The KELLER Diamant project is Solskin's largest project to date, covering an area of 1,300 square meters. The system, which is expected to go into operation in summer 2025, is installed on KELLER Druckmesstechnik AG's state-of-the-art production facility and reflects the company's commitment to technology, innovation and employee well-being. KELLER Druckmesstechnik AG is a family-owned company with a long history of innovation that has made it a global leader in high-precision pressure transducers.
The design for the "Diamant" by Strut Architekten AG seamlessly integrates the Solskin climate-adapted facade system on the south facade to reduce energy consumption, increase operational efficiency and create an optimal indoor climate. In particular, Solskin's dynamic PV power production was an important aspect for the investors, as it covers part of the building's large operating energy requirements. In addition, the system has intelligent shading functions that significantly reduce the energy required for air conditioning. This project demonstrates the potential of Solskin for large-scale industrial use.

Context
KELLER Druckmesstechnik AG faced two critical challenges with its south façade: Excessive solar radiation, which led to undesirable heating of the interior, especially in summer, and thus increased cooling requirements, and high energy consumption by the production machines. The architectural design for the building had to embody the company's values - precision and innovation - while ensuring a pleasant environment for employees. This balance between functionality and aesthetics was of great importance for the success of the project.
Solskin Implementation
Solskin is integrated into the façade, creating a seamless combination of smart shading and solar energy generation that is highly efficient by tracking the sun. This innovative, user-friendly solution combines corporate sustainability with design. With 3,500 movable modules, the Solskin façade dynamically adjusts its orientation to optimize solar energy generation while providing effective shading, preserving natural light and maintaining the building's aesthetic integrity. Mounted on an elegant façade mesh, the lightweight modules respond to the environment in real time, balancing energy efficiency, daylight control and thermal comfort.

Project Results
The Solskin system can increase solar energy generation by up to 40% compared to standard static solutions, while significantly reducing cooling requirements and overall energy consumption.
It will also play a key role in improving the building's energy efficiency and promoting energy independence through the integration of high-performance batteries.
In addition to energy efficiency, the system increases employee comfort and productivity through an optimized indoor climate and excellent building aesthetics. This innovative solution combines sustainability with the KELLER values; precision, technology and forward-looking design, setting a new standard for energy-efficient industrial buildings.
